Austin Paul ‘23 MBA ‘24 was promoted to an Assistant Athletic Director for Equipment Operations ahead of the 2025-26 athletic season.
Paul joins athletic administration after completing his second year on the Nichols Athletics staff as the Game Operations Assistant and Assistant to the Equipment Room in 2024-25. He previously spent four years competing for the Bison as a varsity track & field athlete and club rugby player. As a member of the men’s track & field program, Paul competed in 17 meets over his collegiate career, recording personal bests of 11.53m in the shot put, 32.49m in the discus, and 23.39m in the hammer throw. He was also a three-time All-Conference Academic selection.
In rugby, Paul was a five-year member of the Nichols program and served as team captain for three seasons. He helped guide the Bison to a 28-8 overall record, including four playoff appearances. The program recorded two undefeated seasons in 2023-24, finishing a combined 18-0, while capturing a NERFU Challenge Cup Championship and a National Collegiate Rugby Northeast Championship. He was also a three-time Scholastic All-American.
Paul was actively involved across the Nichols community as a member of the Senior Advisory Council, Sports Management Club, and as a teaching assistant in the Nichols Sports Television program. He also spent two years as a work-study student within the athletics department, serving as a primary stat caller for Nichols football and assisting as a ball attendant for field hockey, volleyball, and lacrosse.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management in May 2023 and completed his MBA in May 2024 at Nichols College.
A native of Middleton, Massachusetts, Paul currently resides in Dudley, Massachusetts.
