Ryan Hibbard begins his 11th season as an assistant coach with the Nichols College men’s and women’s tennis programs in 2021-22.
With his assistance, the Bison won eight-straight Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men’s Tennis Championships (2012-19) and six of their seven NCAA First Round matches (Marywood in 2012, Colby-Sawyer in 2013 & 2016, Ramapo in 2015, UMass Boston in 2017, Baruch in 2018).
The women, meanwhile, have appeared in the conference championship match nine times with Hibbard on staff, winning the 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 crowns by defeating Endicott. The Bison went on to defeat Ithaca in the NCAA First Round in 2017, Wilkes in 2018, and Colby-Sawyer in 2019.
Hibbard is a 2003 graduate of Worcester State, where he majored in elementary education. He was a member of the Massachusetts Small College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) as a senior.
