Nick Perenick was promoted to the Director of Athletic Communications in September 2022, following a brief stint as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Digital Media. Perenick serves as the primary contact for the football, men's basketball, men's and women's volleyball, women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis, men's golf, and Esports programs.

Since coming aboard, Perenick has overseen and executed the strategic planning and posting across social media platforms (@ncbison), enhancing the student-athlete experience for all. In addition, he serves as the liaison to student broadcasters, providing live video broadcasts for home athletic contests using Blueframe Technology. Perenick also performs the duties of Esports sport administrator, providing support to its head coach and student-athletes.

Perenick came to Dudley after spending two years as a graduate assistant in the sports information office at fellow Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) institution Suffolk University (2020-22). He helped promote all 19 varsity athletic programs, served as host and producer of the ‘Suffolk Sounds’ podcast, and was both the creator and producer of the ‘Ram Cam’ video series, which highlighted the day in the life of Suffolk student-athletes. Perenick also assisted with photography and videography efforts for the Rams' athletic department.

Previously, Perenick served as the Digital Media Coordinator and In-Game host for the North Shore Navigators of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NEBCL), a position he held for two seasons. While with the Navigators, he produced social media content for the Navigators and served as the primary videographer.

The Woburn, Massachusetts native majored in communications and sports journalism at Springfield College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2020. During that time, he was responsible for the setup and breakdown at home athletic events, the training of new student workers, and public address announcing for several sports.

As an undergraduate, Perenick completed athletic communications internships at Endicott College (June 2018 - August 2018), Western New England University (September 2019 - December 2019), and Mount Holyoke College (January 2020 – May 2020). He helped create social media content and maintain the athletic website for the Gulls, provided play-by-play for Golden Bears football, basketball, and hockey contests, and created graphics and game programs for the Lyons. Additionally, Perenick was the official scorer for WNE field hockey and soccer contests and served as the primary contact for the MHC lacrosse program.
