Dawson Quint '23

Dawson Quint ’23 begins his first year as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and Game Operations Coordinator in the 2025–26 season. As Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, he serves as the primary sport contact for women’s soccer, men’s soccer, women’s ice hockey, men’s ice hockey, and baseball. In addition to his primary contact roles, he oversees Nichols’ 24 varsity programs on the Nichols Athletics website and social media pages. In his Game Operations Coordinator role, Quint spearheads the day-to-day operations for all 24 varsity athletic programs.
 
Quint makes his return to The Hill with an extensive resume in both communications and game operations. Most recently, he served on the Matchday Operations Staff with Rhode Island FC in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where he assisted with tasks ranging from pre-game field setup and post-game breakdown to fan engagement and liaising with match officials at home games. Quint also spent parts of 2024-25 working as part of The Kraft Group with the New England Patriots and has worked as a freelance statistician in the region with Brown University, the College of the Holy Cross, and Nichols College. Alongside his freelance duties, Quint also worked at Brown University as an Athletics Marketing Assistant, focusing on game day fan experiences and engagement.
 
Quint gained additional experience working at multiple major events across the New England region, including the 2025 Governor’s Cup at Centreville Bank Stadium, the 2025 Major League Rugby Championship, the Puerto Rico vs. Nicaragua international soccer friendly, the 2024 and 2025 Atlantic Hockey America Championship Series, and the 2025 Ivy League Madness Tournament for both men’s and women’s basketball.
 
A Wisconsin native, Quint graduated from Nichols College in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and competed for four years as a member of the men’s soccer program. As a defender, he played 51 games, making 35 starts and logging over 3,400 minutes during his collegiate career. He also recorded two assists in his junior season. Quint served as the men’s soccer representative and Conference Liaison for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, while also working in two work-study positions within the Athletic Communications and Game Operations departments. In his senior year, Quint served as an Athletics Marketing Intern for the Nichols Athletic Communications department, gaining valuable experience managing the department’s social media and website.
 
A three-time Fall Academic All-CCC Team honoree for men’s soccer at Nichols College, Quint earned President’s List status for all eight semesters (2019–2023) and graduated with the Zeta Alpha Phi Award for Outstanding Achievement in General Business in 2023. He was also the 2023 recipient of the Nichols College Athletics Major Charles T. Hopkins Award for Study, Sports, & Spirit.
