Henri Guilmette begins his third season as goalkeeper coach with the men’s soccer program at Nichols College in 2022.
A 2020 graduate of Worcester State, Guilmette garnered Massachusetts Small College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Second Team honors as a senior after starting all 20 matches and recording nine wins (four via shutout). He posted a goals against average (GAA) of 1.32.
“We’re fortunate to be able to add someone of Henri’s stature to our program,” said Traina, who has guided to the Bison to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) playoffs in each of the past 12 seasons. “We have six goalkeepers coming to campus this fall, so to have someone with Henri’s experience on staff to help with their development is vital to the long-term success of our program.”
Guilmette – who owns a career GAA of 1.37 – recorded a career-low 1.21 GAA as a junior, when he recorded three of his nine collegiate shutouts. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in accounting while minoring in economics.
