David Melanson begins his second season as an assistant coach with the Nichols College men’s soccer program in 2018.
Melanson was a four-year member of the Bison men’s soccer program and a key member of the 2014 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship squad. He was a two-year captain and assisted on the game-tying goal in the conference championship match against Gordon in 2014, a contest the Bison won 2-1 in overtime to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history. Melanson compiled a career-high eight points as a junior (3-2-8) and scored two more goals as a senior. For his career, he appeared in 69 matches.
