Nichols College Athletics

Jayme Dowd enters her first season as the Nichols College Cross Country and Track and Field graduate assistant in 2022-2023.

A 2022 graduate of the Nichols Business Administration program with a minor in Human Resources, Dowd was a two-sport athlete for the Bison, competing in both cross country and track & field, while serving as a member of the Nichols Track Leadership Council and Student Athlete Advisory Council. Dowd also served as the cross country captain over her four year collegiate career.

As a member of the cross country team on The Hill, she competed in several meets, including the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship in 2018, 2019, and 2021. Dowd raced in all seven meets her freshman season and competed in the NCAA Regionals in 2019. Additionally, at the Tri State Invitational in 2021, Dowd recorded a time of 30:01.0. In 2021, Dowd was also a part of the CCC All-Academic Team.

In the outdoor track and field season, Dowd sprinted for the Bison and competed in three CCC Championships. She ran a time 1:14.15 400m dash at the 2021 CCC Championship.

Dowd is pursuing her Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL).
