Andrew DiGiovanni begins his second season as Quality Control Coach for the Nichols College football team in 2022.
The Bison saw five student-athletes earn Coast Conference (CCC) Football All-Conference honors in 2021 while six were named to the Worcester Area Football Association (WAFA) All-Star Teams and 17 garnered CCC Academic All-Conference honors.
A native of Mansfield, Mass., DiGiovanni spent two seasons as a student assistant coach at Mansfield H.S. under Hall of Fame coach Mike Redding. During that span, he helped the Hornets record an undefeated season as well as capture two league titles and a state championship.
DiGiovannai is the first student assistant coach in program history.
