Jack Blake enters his second season as the Nichols College baseball Director of Baseball Operations and Catching Coach in 2023-24.
The 2022 graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University brings with him a Bachelors Degree in sport management with a minor in business administration. He was a three-year letter winner for the Warriors behind the dish.
Blake is not new to the coaching scene, as the Westfield, Massachusetts native held an assistant coaching position with Crush Baseball from June to October of 2021. While with Crush, he was in charge of practice planning, in-game coaching, statistics, and was the instructor for hitting, base running, and catchers.
From September 2021 to December 2021, Blake served as a baseball operations intern at The University of Connecticut, where he assisted with game day operations and logistics for the baseball team and worked directly with the sport information director.
In 2022, Blake went south to Yale University, where he took on the role of Director of Baseball Operations for a season in which the Bulldogs went 20-18. While at Yale, Blake was in charge of the day-to-day operations and logistics, practice and game day set up, travel and game itineraries, and social media accounts.
