Colby Greenhalgh enters his first season on "The Hill" with the Bison as an Assistant Baseball Coach. Greenhalgh will oversee the outfielders and the hitters.
Most recently Greenhalgh spent the 2024 season as the Assistant Baseball Coach at Quinnipiac University, focused on the outfield, catching and a recruiter. Before that he was the Assistant Baseball Coach as Johnson & Wales University from 2021-2023. In that role he was responsible for the day to day practice plans for the hitters, outfielders, and catcher. He recruited in the Mid-Atlantic Region as well as New England.
Greenhalgh's playing career was at Johnson & Wales, where he was a catcher from 2017 - 2021. Greenhlagh was a three time GNAC First Team All Conference performer (2018, 2019, 2021) and named New England All-Region First Team in 2019. Greenhalgh was a member of the All-Academic team from 2017-2021 as well. Greenhalgh posted a career .375 with 162 hits and 104 RBI in 125 games played. In 2019 he batted .397 with a career high 56 hits and 31 RBI, while slugging .617. Behind the dish he finished with a .983 fielding percentage, with 660 put outs.
