DUDLEY, Mass. (9/8/2026) – The Nichols women's golf team swept the top-five individual leaderboard on Tuesday afternoon, with junior newcomer
Delaney Giesen claiming medalist honors to lead the Bison to a victory at their own Fall Invitational at Dudley Hill Golf Club.
Giesen finished the day at five-over par (77) to top the 14-player field, earning her first collegiate medal in what was her Nichols debut while also setting a program record for lowest single-round score by an individual. The Bison closed out the event at 39-over par 327, which was also the lowest team total for a single 18-hole round all-time.

Isabella Fleury was equally impressive on the course Tuesday, carding a six-over par 78 for a runner-up finish individually. Behind her was freshman
Isabelle Deurquiza, who scored an 84 (+12) for third place in her collegiate debut. Meanwhile, junior
Eva Melanson finished fourth at 16-over par 88, and senior captain
Gabrielle Maranchie placed fifth with a 26-over 98 to round out the Bison lineup.
Women's golf will turn their attention to the upcoming University of Hartford Tumble Brook Invitational on Monday, September 14
th. The single-round event will be held at Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
