DUDLEY, Mass. (August 19, 2026) - The Nichols College women's volleyball program looks toward the 2026 season with excitement as head coach
Caryn Sibiskie enters her second year at the helm. The Bison welcome 11 new faces to the program, including a mix of transfers and incoming recruits, while also returning a strong group of familiar faces. With a young and talented core in place, Nichols looks to build upon last season's foundation, continue its growth, and keep the momentum moving forward.
When asked about the upcoming season, Sibiskie said, "With a lot of fresh faces joining Bison Volleyball this fall, we are excited for what this season has in store for us as we continue to grow!"
The Bison look to improve upon their postseason placement after finishing the 2025 campaign with an 8-19 overall record and a 2-8 mark in CNE play. Nichols returns seven players from last season, including junior
Gabrielle McKayle after making an impact at the net, ranking third on the team with 23 blocks last season and senior libero
Elizabeth Mullen who anchored the Bison backline after recording 320 digs, which ranked 10th in the CNE, while also collecting 62 receptions throughout the season.
Nichols welcomes 11 newcomers to the roster, including nine freshmen who will look to make their collegiate debuts and make an immediate impact on the court. The Bison also add two transfers in
Lauren Decoteau, who joins Nichols from Anna Maria College, and
Sabiya Esquivel, who comes to Dudley from Pasadena City College.
Women's Volleyball opens the fall season for Nichols Athletics on Tuesday, September 1st, at the Nichols Athletics Center when the Bison host the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College at 6:00 PM.
