DUDLEY, Mass. (8/17/2026) - Fifth-year head coach
Angel Mogel and the Nichols Women's Soccer program welcome 19 returners and ten newcomers as they return to The Hill for the 2026 season. In 2025, Mogel guided a young roster that featured all eight freshmen seeing meaningful minutes, including goalkeeper
Isabella Dupret, who finished the year just outside the program's top ten for single-season saves.
Joining Mogel on the coaching staff,
Shelby Masse returns for her tenth season, overseeing all goalkeeper development.
Adie Hughes '24 MBA '25 will spearhead recruiting efforts and handle behind-the-scenes operations of the program in her third season as a coach, while Baris Ekincioglu joins The Hill to assist with on-field training sessions and film review.
"I'm really excited about the combination of our committed, hardworking returners and the new talent joining our program this season" said Mogel. "Our returning players have done a tremendous job setting the standard for our culture, and our newcomers will bring great energy and competitiveness. We're looking forward to building on last year's foundation and seeing what this group can accomplish together."
Returning for their junior seasons,
Summer Bruno,
Alyssa Senecal, and
Cassie Rice will be huge assets on the field for the Bison. Senecal and Bruno led the Bison last season in minutes played with 1,620 and 1,561 minutes apiece, while Rice ended the 2025 season tied for the most goals scored in the squad.
In net, returners
Isabella Dupret and
Hannah Deschene will be joined by
Elizabeth Johnson,
Payton Stone, and
Emily Dougenik as the goalkeepers for the 2026 season.
The Bison's season starts on Tuesday, September 1st, when they travel to Albertus Magnus College for a 4 PM kickoff. They will start conference play on the road against Western New England on Saturday, September 12th.
