BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (4/7/2026) – The Nichols women's golf team returned to action on Monday at the Hartford Hawks/Wintonbury Hills Spring Invitational, where they placed 2
nd of five competing teams at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course.
The Bison finished 49 strokes behind tournament winner University of Hartford, carding a single-round score of 402 (+122). Nichols finished runner-up ahead of Albertus Magnus (+149), WestConn (+183) and Rhode Island College (+197).
Leading the way for Nichols was sophomore
Isabella Fleury, who paced the Bison with a round of 19-over (89), finishing tied for third overall. Junior
Felicia Zander followed, carding a 92 (+22) to place 8
th individually, while senior
Kaitlin Baca turned in a 103 (+33) to finish 14
th. Rounding out the Nichols lineup, freshman
Cynthia Fang posted a 118 (+48), placing 23
rd in the individual standings.
Women's Golf will next compete on Tuesday, April 21
st at their home Bison Spring Invitational, which will be held at Crestview Country Club in Agawam, Mass.
