Braxton Rocha earned both Field Athlete of the Week and Field Rookie of the Week honors, as announced Monday at 4:00 PM by the Conference of New England (CNE) for the week of 3/30-4/4.The awards mark the first pair of honors for Rocha, following a successful outing at the Springfield College Classic.
Rocha finished first in the Men's Long Jump with a 6.71m finish, leading the pack in the event. Rocha also tabbed a distance of 12.70m in the Men's Triple Jump, warranting a sixth place finish overall as well as tying the program record for the event.
Braxton Rocha and the Bison will return to competition at the Silfen Invitational next weekend on Saturday, April 11th hosted by Connecticut College.
