BEVERY, Mass. (4/27/2026) – The Nichols College baseball program's junior outfielder
Adam Pivacek earned Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week honors on April 27th for his performance this past week.
The Tolland, Connecticut native,
Adam Pivacek appeared in four games for the Bison, recording six hits, including two doubles, a two-run home run, and a grand slam, on ten at-bats with five runs and ten RBIs for a .600 batting average and a 1.400 slugging average on the week. He was also walked 3 times for a .692 on-base percentage and did not strike out in any at-bat.
This is Pivacek's first CNE weekly honor, joining sophomore
Collin Harty as the two Bison to earn conference Player of the Week honors this year. Pivacek's award marks the fourth weekly award for the Nichols baseball program this year.
In the Conference of New England statistical standings, Pivacek currently ranks 13th in slugging percentage on the season with a .526, only behind sophomore
Ryan Keating (.556) for the Bison in the category.
Baseball is back in action tomorrow, April 28th, for a Conference of New England game away at Curry College. First pitch is set for 3:30 PM.
