AGAWAM, Mass. (4/21/2026) - The Nichols men's golf team continued its 2026 spring slate, taking first place in their home Bison Spring Invitational at Crestview Country Club on Tuesday.
The Bison, who went head-to-head with Worcester State University in stroke play, landed each of their players in the top-five leaderboard, spearheaded by individual medalist
Nick White who finished the day with a one-over par 73. Nichols took the win with a team score of 314 (+26), whereas Worcester State finished with a 360 (+72).
White scored par or less on all but three holes throughout the single round, carding a pair of birdies as well with one on the front and back nine.
Jacob Andreozzi recorded a 77 (+5) on the day to finish runner-up individually, scoring two birdies of his own, while
Tyler Labonte and
Cameron Desante landed tied for third with a matching score of 82 (+10).
Rounding out the list of top performers was
Trent Pichie, who tied for fifth with Worcester State's Jon Wasserman with a score of 83 (+11).
Men's Golf has one last stop to make on their 2025-26 campaign. The team will next compete at the Gordon College Shootout this upcoming Saturday, April 25
th at Wenham Country Club.
