PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (4/13/2026) - The Nichols College men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Roger Williams University Spring Invitational on Monday afternoon, placing seventh of nine competing programs.
The Bison, who carded a 333 (+49) in the opening round at Green Valley Country Club, improved their performance by 14 strokes in the second round at the Aquidneck Club, totaling 652 (+84) through the two days. Nichols finished ahead of Rhode Island College (653) and SUNY Old Westbury (718), while No. 10 Palm Beach State earned the team medal.
Senior
Cameron Desante led the way for Nichols with a tie for 17
th finish at 18-over par, scoring one birdie in each of the two rounds. Juniors
Nick White (+21) and
Brady Salah (+22) were close behind, placing tied for 23
rd and 25
th respectively, while
Jacob Andreozzi landed in a three-way tie for 35
th with at 25-over par. Salah and Andreozzi also scored one birdie apiece in the event.
Rounding out the Bison lineup was junior
Drew Barrett, who finished tied for 38
th at 26-over par.
Nichols will keep the spring campaign rolling next week at their home Bison Spring Invitational, which will be played at Crestview Country Club in Agawam, Massachusetts.
