BEVERLEY, Mass. (3/30/2026) - The Conference of New England (CNE) announced their weekly award winners on Monday, March 30th. With this current wave of honors, Nichols College men's tennis was recognized for award consideration.
Freshman Jodha Singh received the CNE Rookie of the Week award for this past week's play, marking his first weekly award from the conference for his collegiate career.Â
Singh posted an impressive winning performance over Suffolk University on Thursday afternoon at the Robinson Tennis Courts. In doubles at the No. 2 spot, Singh earned a 6-3 victory alongside Mason Harris. Moving into singles, he then went on to defeat his opponent in a straight-set on the No. 1 court, 6-2, 6-4. Prior to this week's honors, Singh marked a 6-0 doubles against Salve Regina University, now extending his doubles win total.
Singh and Nichols College men's tennis will return to play against the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers today at the Robinson Tennis Courts, start time set for 3:30 PM.
