Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Open Outdoor Competition at Tymann Invitational

WENHAM, Mass. (3/28/26) - The Nichols College men's track & field teams traveled to Gordon College on Friday morning to compete in the Tymann Invitational, hosted at the Brigham Athletic Complex. The Bison compete across several events, highlighted by multiple top-finishes and individual results.

Headlining track & field's day at Gordon was Nolan Charbonneau, whose time of 15.44 produced the top spot in the men's 110m Hurdles event, simultaneously securing the new No. 1 program record time. The new mark replaces Charbonneau's former record holding time of 15.56, set nearly two years ago at the Penmen Relays (4/13/24). Charbonneau also competed in the men's 4x100 Relay alongside Giromani Fortes de Brito, Eric Manilut, and Blake Pattison, with the group impressively notching a second place finish with their time of 43.69.

The men's and women's 400m dash each saw top-finishes respectively. Gabrielle McKayle placed sixth in the event with a time of 1:03.58 and Gregory Sadlak finished fourth with a time of 52.84. McKayle also finished second in the 200m dash with a 26.74. Capping off top distance performances was Pattison, whose men's 100m dash time of 11.32 earned him a second place finish.

On the women's side, Adison Dawe dominated in the women's hammer throw, placing third with a distance of 38.22m. Also competing in the women's hammer throw was Emma Cheffer who earned sixth place with a throw of 29.75m. Wrapping up the highest placed performances of the day was Haley Bethin who placed fifth in the women's shot put invite, throwing 9.27m.

Freshman Hunter Schiller led the men in throws, earning first place in the men's shot put open with a distance of 12.38m. Michael Carbone placed fourth in the event as well, throwing 11.44m. Chad Moffat and Aidan Ibbitson each produced top-finishes in the men's javelin throw event. Moffat earned fourth with 46.84m, and Ibbitson followed at sixth with 43.98m.
