DUDLEY, Mass. (9/4/2025) – The Nichols College men's golf program enters its 2025-26 campaign with a balanced roster of returning veterans and promising newcomers, and will do so under the guidance of first-year head coach Don Lemieux.
The action starts next week at the 6
th Annual Warrior Invitational, hosted by Eastern Connecticut State, on September 8-9 at the Mohegan Sun Golf Club. Last season, the Bison claimed 7
th in the Conference of New England Championship, with this year's tournament set for October 4-5 at Trumblebrook Country Club in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
"I am thrilled to be able to work with this team, and am optimistic about the talent and drive they are bringing into the new season", said coach Lemieux. "The group we have in place is both competitive and talented, and they will naturally push each other to being better each and every single day. There is a lot to be excited about."
One of the most notable names returning to the Bison this coming season is senior
Cameron Desante, who landed in a tie for 27
th last fall at the NEIGA Championship with dual round scores of 77 (+5) and 78 (+6), while finishing the campaign with an 80 (+8) average. Also joining the corps of returning athletes is senior
Jacob Andreozzi, juniors
Drew Barrett,
Brady Salah,
Nick White, and sophomore
Anthony Casillo.
The Bison also welcome a six-man recruiting class to their team this fall; senior
Alec Leduc, and freshman
Trent Pichie,
Logan Rawson,
Luca Scatto,
Owen Shearer and
Braydon Simpkins.
