DUDLEY, Mass. (9/23/2025) – Graduate student wide receiver
Jack Morvan, following his record-setting performance at Coast Guard this past weekend, has earned a spot on this week's D3football.com Team of the Week, as announced on Tuesday morning.
This is the 27th season that D3football.com has selected the Team of the Week, which honors the top player nationally at each position from the previous week. Morvan earns the national honor for the first time in his career, and becomes the first Bison to earn national honor roll recognition this season.
Morvan totaled 289 receiving yards for the Bison this past weekend, which tied for second all-time in program history for a single game. His stat line featured 10 receptions on the day, three touchdowns (a career best mark), and an average of 28.9 yards per reception with a long of 75 yards in their non-conference tilt at Coast Guard. His performance made him the program's all-time leader in both career receiving yards (2,705), and receiving touchdowns (31).
This is the first Bison Football honor since Josh Vitti '24 was named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week, last season against Curry College.
Presently, Morvan ranks second in Division III for receiving yards this season (459) and second in receiving yards per game (153.0).
The Bison will return home to open Conference play as they welcome in New England College, on Saturday, September 27th at Vendetti Field. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m. on Homecoming Weekend.
