WARWICK, R.I. (9/16/2025) - The Nichols men's golf team finished fourth out of five teams at the Rhode Island College Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the par-72, 6,508-yard Valley Country Club.
The Bison carded a single-round score of 317 (+29), eight strokes ahead of fifth place finisher Rhode Island College (B).
Leading the way for Nichols was freshman
Trent Pichie, who shot a four-over 76 to tie for seventh out of the 25-player field. Junior
Brady Salah also cracked the top 10 in a three-way tie for ninth place, carding a five-over 77 on the day, while freshman
Owen Shearer scored a 79 (+7) to finish in a tie for 13
th.

Logan Rawson drew even with each other in the individual leaderboard, as the duo tied for 22
nd with matching scores of 85 (+13).
The tournament was also the collegiate debuts for Pichie, Shearer and Rawson.
The Bison will take the remainder of the week off before returning to action at the Westfield State Brett Williamson Invitational in Westfield, Massachusetts and the Tekoa Country Club.
