BEVERLY, Mass. (9/15/2025) – Men's golf senior
Cameron Desante has been named the Conference of New England Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
For Desante, Monday marks his first time receiving Golfer of the Week honors from the conference, having previously earned two rounds of Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week recognition as a freshman in 2022-23.
Desante was nothing short of spectacular at last week's Eastern Connecticut State Warrior Invitational, where he shot three-under par 137 through two rounds to win the individual championship, the first medalist honors of his collegiate career. However, his two-day total also held higher significance for the program, as it was the lowest recorded score through two rounds by a Bison player since the 2006-07 season.
Desante and the Bison are back in action this week at the Rhode Island College Invitational on Tuesday, September 16
th, with tee-off scheduled for 10:00 AM at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island.
