SMITHFIELD, RI (9/14/25) - Women's Tennis traveled to Bryant University for their tournament consisting of interchanging singles and doubles match ups featuring Nichols College, Stonehill College, Providence College, and host Bryant University. The Bison were able to showcase their talent and skills playing against opponents at the D1 in the tournament that spanned across two days.
On day one of the tournament,
Charis Vogler and Kemora Helton both saw victories against opponents from Providence College. In a thrilling performance Helton kept it entertaining for her win with a score of 4-1, 1-4, 10-4, and Vogler picked up a hard-fought victory winning 4-2, 4-3 (8-6). The doubles pairings of
Pamela Gonzalez Vallardi and Vogler won their match 6-4, and then a duo switching Vogler for Helton was able to win with the same score of 6-4, rounding out Nichols' participation in day one.
For day twp's competition, the Bison started the day with a doubles match up against a Providence College pairing featuring Helton and Gonzalez Vallardi, who defeated the opponents 7-6. Against a duo from Stonehill College,
Cora Brosch and Vogler won their match 6-2. During singles action, Helton saw the court twice against two Providence College opponents winning out 4-1, 4-6 for the first and 4-1, 4-2 for the second. Brosch completed for singles as well against an opponent from Stonehill College, winning 4-3, 1-4, 10-8.Â
