Quint Hired as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications/Game Operations Coordinator

DUDLEY, Mass. (8/4/2025) – Nichols College Interim Director of Athletics Kristan Mallet announced the hiring of Dawson Quint '23 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications/Game Operations Coordinator on Tuesday morning.

Quint will work alongside Director of Athletic Communications David Tuttle in overseeing Nichols' 24 varsity programs, while also heading the day-to-day operations side of all Bison home games.

"We're proud to welcome Dawson Quint back to Nichols as our Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and Game Operations Coordinator," said Mallet. "As a former student athlete, Dawson brings a unique perspective, deep pride in the Bison experience, and a strong work ethic that will elevate our communications and game day operations. We are excited to see the impact he will have here on The Hill."

Quint makes his return to The Hill with an extensive resume in both communications and game operations. Most recently, Quint has served on the Matchday Operations Staff team with Rhode Island FC in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where he assisted with tasks ranging from pregame/post game field setup and breakdown, fan engagement, and being a match official's liaison at home games. Quint also spent parts of 2024-25 working with The Kraft Group, and has worked as a freelance statistician in the region with Brown University, the College of the Holy Cross, and Nichols College. Alongside his freelance duties, Quint has also worked at Brown as an Athletics Marketing Assistant, which was also focused around gameday fan experiences and engagement.

"I am truly honored to return to The Hill and to play a meaningful role in the Division of Athletics, a community that has had such a profound impact on my life", said Quint. "As a former student-athlete, this campus played a pivotal role in shaping who I am today, and I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Kristan Mallet and the entire Division of Athletics for their guidance and trust in me, and I am incredibly excited to get started and contribute to the continued growth and success of this incredible institution!"

Quint graduated from Nichols in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and was a four-year letter winner with the men's soccer program (2019-2022). As a defender with the program, Quint logged over 3,400 minutes across 51 career matches, including 35 starts, and even chalked up a pair of assists his junior season.
