Bison Fall Short to Falcons in Home Opener, 4-0

DUDLEY, Mass. (8/29/2025) – Nichols College Women's Soccer fell short to Albertus Magnus College on a rainy Friday night at Vendetti Field. The final score of the match: 4-0.

After tonight's result, the Bison's record stands at 0-1 overall. With the win, Albertus Magnus move to 1-0 on the season.

The Falcons opened the scoring 3 minutes into the first half when senior Ejalam Bravo received the ball from Grace D'Amico and hit a left footed shot that beat Nichols goalkeeper Isabella Dupret. Play went on until the 22nd minute, when a lightning delay halted the game. After the play resumed, the Falcons put a lot of pressure on the Bison which led to Ejalam Bravo's second goal of the game, this time assisted by Tyler Stocking. The Bison bounced back after this goal, and after back and forth action, the half ended with the Bison down 2-0.

In the second half, Ejalama continued an impressive performance by tally on two assists on the night, one to Tyler Stocking in the 61st minute and the other to Stacey Casorlain the 66th minute. A close chance by Falyn Hunt almost put the Bison on the board, but the game would end 4-0.

Freshman goalkeeper Isabella Dupret made a strong collegiate debut, registering 7 saves on the night. She tallied her first full 90 minutes performance of the season.

Alyssa Senecal came in clutch for Nichols College, making multiple last ditch tackles in the 90 minutes she played.

The women's soccer team is back at home tomorrow in another non-conference match against Clark University. Time for kickoff is set for 12 PM on the Nichols Soccer Field.
