CNE All-40th Baseball Team Release
BEVERLY, Mass. (6/9/2025) – The Nichols College Baseball Team saw five members land the Conference of New England (CNE) All-40
th Baseball Team, the conference announced on Thursday.
Mike Escolas '05, Nick (Nicholas) Roy '18, Jack Dicenso '20 MBA '22, Kyle Bouchard '20, and
Johnny Knox '24 all represented the Bison on the List. Bouchard, Dicenso, and Knox all were Players of the Year, while Escolas and Roy each landed on the First Team three times.
The minimum criteria for consideration of the list was at least two First Team All-Conference selections or at least one Player of the Year honor. All members honored on the list have graduated and did not compete in the 2024-25 school year.
Escolas '05, was the Bison's first three-time honoree on the All-Conference list and had an excellent career on "The Hill". He recorded the third highest slugging percentage (.741) in the 2005 season, and the second highest career mark with .595 over his career. He holds the highest career on base percentage (.488). Escolas holds the highest single season fielding percentage with a .996 percentage in the 2005 season.
Roy '18, also saw his name on the First Team list, three time from 2016-2018. He graduated No. 1 in runs (132), and tied for No. 1 in games played (151) ... also ranked No. 2 in at-bats (552), hits (202), singles (160), and total bases (256), No. 3 in stolen bases (54), No. 4 in doubles (33) and walks (64), No. 5 in on-base percentage (.432) and sacrifice flies (six), No. 6 in slugging pct. (.464), No. 7 in RBI (92), No. 10 in triples (six), and No. 11 in batting average (.366).
Dicenso '20 MBA '22, was a First Team selection of the Pitcher of the Year in 2021, when he lead the Conference in wins (6) and strikeouts (61). Regionally, he also earned Second Team from D3Baseball.com and Third Team from the ABCA/Rawlings Association as well. His six wins is tied for the third-highest single-season total in program history while his .196 opponent batting average was sixth and 61 strikeouts tied for sixth. He struck out 10 batters on four occasions this season, grabbing CCC Pitcher of the Week honors following one such outing against Roger Williams (3/27).
Bouchard '20 MBA '21, was the Program's first All-American, earning the Fourth Team nod from D3Baseball.com. Bouchard claimed First Team and Player of the Year honors in his final season with the Bison. He graduated No. 1 in games played (155), doubles (41), RBI (149), total bases (303), putouts (1,313), fielding pct. (.989), and sac flies (25); No. 2 in at-bats (567), hits (205), and home runs (19); No. 3 in walks (83) and singles (145); No. 4 in slugging pct. (.534); tied for No. 4 in runs (115); tied for No. 5 in on-base pct. (.432); tied for No. 12 in batting average (.362).
Knox '24, has found his name all over the record book as well. He was named a First Team selection, Player of the Year, and Second Team All-American, also while claiming the Program's second Academic All-American as well for the Bison in his senior season. Knox becomes the first player in program history to earn both D3Baseball.com All-Region II Player of the Year and ABCA/Rawlings Region II Position Player of the Year. He set the Program's single season total base record, single season home run record, single season hit record, and finished in second for RBI in a single season and career home run, to list a few.
