DUDLEY, Mass. (5/3/2025) – The Nichols College men's volleyball team has climbed back into the national rankings as the No. 17 program in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division III Coaches Poll.
The announcement comes after 2025 NEVC Champion Bison finished out their spring campaign with a 21-15 (6-0 NEVC) overall record, which included their major upset of No. 3 Stevens Institute of Technology in the NCAA Division III Tournament a few weeks back.
Before all that, the Bison first defeated Endicott College in the NEVC title match, 3-1, before dispatching Randolph-Macon College in the Play-In Round of the NCAA Tournament by the same score, the program's first ever win in the NCAA's.
Out of the final Top-20, as voted on by the AVCA, the Bison finished the year ranked ahead of Hobart (20-9), Mount Union (20-9) and UC Santa Cruz (19-8).
