DUDLEY, Mass. (5/28/2025) – The Nichols College Baseball team saw five members named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com All-Region II Teams, following another great season for the Bison.

John Steed,
Tyler Moniz-Witten, and junior
Julian Galvan all represented the Bison with the selections on the D3Baseball.com All-Region II Third Team. Junior
Liam Flynn, Steed and Jerome all landed on ABCA/Rawlings All-Region II Teams as well.
Jerome, capped off his final playing season with the Bison, with an All-Conference First Team honor as a Utility Player and received a Second Team nod for his efforts in the Outfield this season as well. The All-Region honor is the second of his career, when he also earned ABCA/Rawlings All-Region II Third Team honors as an outfielder last season. Jerome, batted .393 with 70 hits, 45 runs scored, walked 24 times, while also batting .461 in conference this season. Jerome stole 24 bases this season, ranking him third in the conference. Jerome set the career stolen bases record as well as the career walks record this season as well for the Bison. In the Outfield, Jerome made 142 catches, 138 put-outs, while committing one error for a .993 fielding percentage as a Center Fielder for the Bison. Jerome was an All-Conference Third Team member last season in the Outfield.
This is Steed's first time earning All-Region honors from the ABCA or D3Baseball.com, earning Second Team honors from the ABCA/Rawlings and Third Team honors from D3Baseball.com. Steed, found himself on the All-Conference Second Team for the second year in row as a starting pitcher. The Vernon, Conn. native was excellent on the bump this season for the Bison. He posted a 9-2 record with one save, two complete games, a 3.57 ERA in 75.2 innings this season. He set the single season wins record with nine, while fanning 59 batters. Steed held opposing batters to a .268 batting average and a 1.19 WHIP on the season. In conference play, Steed finished with a 5-1 record, while leading the Bison to the Conference Championship game, where he threw 7.2 innings.
Flynn, earns his first All-Region nod of his collegiate career as the Second Team catcher for the Bison. Flynn also earned CNE All-Conference Second Team honors as a catcher as well. Flynn backstopped the Bison in 39 games, while appearing in all 44 games the team played. Flynn batted .348 with 55 hits, 40 runs scored, 15 doubles, eight home runs, 44 RBI, and 30 walks, while slugging .595 this season. This is Flynn's first All-Conference honor.
Moniz-Witten, earns his first post-season recognition in his time with the Bison. He lands on the All-Region list as a relief pitcher for the Bison. The senior San Mateo, California native arrived on "The Hill" this season and posted a 4-1 record in 42.2 innings pitched with 22 appearances and a 5.91 ERA. Moniz-Witten struck out 39 batters, while also earning two saves and a .248 batting average against opposing hitters.
Galvan, claims the All-Region II honors as a third basemen. He was named a CNE All-Conference Second Team nod, this season as a third basemen. Galvan appeared in all 44 games for the Bison, starting in 41, primarily at third base. He batted .361 with 56 hits, 10 doubles, 31 runs scored, one triple, and 25 RBI for the team. In the field, he posted a .923 fielding percentage with 37 putouts and 71 assists. This was Galvan's first All-Conference selection with the Bison.
The Bison foursome is the first group of four or more Bison to claim All-Region honors together since 2021 when Kyle Bouchard '20, '21, Jack Dicenso '20, '21, Nathaniel Cormier '21 and DJ Caron '22 all earned ABCA/Rawlings Division III All-New England laurels.
The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America teams will be announced the evening of Thursday, May 29 immediately following the Opening Ceremony at the 2025 NCAA Div. III World Series in Eastlake, Ohio. Only First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.
The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 18. The 2025 ABCA NCAA Div. III Region All-Defensive teams will be announced on Thursday, June 19.
The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.
