LOUISVILLE, K.Y. (5/16/2025) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region Teams on Friday afternoon. Three members of the Nichols College Softball team, all found themselves on the list.

Senior Chelsea Indyk and juniors Allie Silliman and Bailey Littlefield all represented the Bison and led the Conference of New England (CNE) with their three selections. Indyk, Silliman, and Littlefield are the first trio since 1987, when the Bison also saw three All-Region honors.

Indyk, the 2025 CNE Pitcher of the Year, landed on the All-Region First Team in the circle after posting a 22-6 record and a 1.56 ERA this season for the Bison. She dominated in the circle, becoming Nichols' all-time leader in career and single-season wins, innings pitched in a season, and single-season shutouts. She led the CNE in ERA, wins, shutouts, games started, complete games, and innings pitched. Indyk becomes the second player in Program history to landed on the First Team, behind Michelle Byrnes '96 who was a First Team Outfielder in 1995.

Silliman, the 2025 CNE Defensive Player of the Year, was an All-Region Second Team at First Base. She set the program record for putouts in a season and bringing her career total to 800. She posted just three errors on the year for a .988 fielding percentage and added 40 assists. At the plate, she hit .363 with 32 runs scored, 53 hits, and a .541 slugging percentage. Silliman earned a First Team All-Conference nod as well after a Second Team honor in 2024. Silliman joins Amy Keith '93 who was a Second Team All-Region honoree in 1992 at second base.

Littlefield contributed a .294 batting average with 30 hits and posted a career-best 210 putouts and 17 assists while back stopping in the Bison. Littlefield recorded at least one hit in 22 of the game this season for the Bison. She threw out six runners as well this season.

Indyk, Silliman, and Littlefield join the six other Softball members on the All-Region Teams in Program History. Kendall Meehan '18, Michelle Byrnes '96, Amy Keith '93, Laura Chalmers '87, Marcia Sinaocla '87, and Lisa Gionet '88 all have landed on NFCA All-Region Teams.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 383 student-athletes from 170 schools who comprise the 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region teams. The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.

All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 28 online and on-site at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Ill.
