2025 CSC Academic All-District

DUDLEY, Mass. (3/28/2025) – Four members of the Nichols College women's tennis program  were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced on Tuesday.

Johanna Schroeder, Antonia Carrero and Charis Vogler earned All-District honors for the second consecutive year, while Cora Brosch earned her first ever recognition this spring.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as NAIA. Eligibility for nominated student-athletes includes having a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average, while having participated 70% of matches that include team scores.

Academic All-District honorees are automatically considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.

Schroeder, the 2025 Conference of New England's Scholar Athlete of the Year, returns to the CSC Academic All-District list with a perfect 4.0 GPA alongside a 10-7 overall record in singles, and an 11-8 mark in doubles. All but one of her doubles victories came alongside fellow recipient Antonia Carrero, who was tabbed as the 2025 Conference of New England's Player of the Year, with a team-leading 13 wins in singles this year, and an 11-7 record in doubles.

Both players also served as senior team captains this past year, and helped lead the Bison to their sixth conference championship title in the fall.

Vogler returns for her second round of CSC Academic All-District honors behind a 3.98 GPA in the classroom, alongside an 8-4 singles record and 8-7 record in doubles this year. Her performance on the courts also earned her CNE Tournament Most Valuable Player honors following the championship match.

Brosch, a sophomore who is stepping onto the podium for the first time, was another standout performer for the Bison this year with a 3.98 GPA as a Communication major, with a 6-9 singles record and an 8-8 doubles record. All of her eight doubles victories were alongside Vogler, with the duo being a primary lock as the program's No. 3 flight.

The pair was also honored with All-CNE Second Team Doubles recognition following the season.
