BEVERLY, Mass. (5/11/2025) – The top seeded Endicott College Gulls topped the No. 2 seeded Nichols College Baseball team in the Conference of New England Championship on Sunday afternoon from North Field. The Bison fell 3-0 to the Gulls.

Senior Ben Jerome went 2-5 in the game to lead all Bison batters, while teammate John Steed threw 7.2 innings, while allowing three runs and fanning three batters to shoulder the loss.

The Bison looked to strike first, in the top of the first when Jerome singled and then freshman Ryan Keating walked. The Bison were unable to score the runners in the first inning.

Endicott struck first when they scored two runs in the sixth inning on two separate sacrifice flys, making it 2-0 Gulls. Endicott added another run with a solo home run in eighth inning, helping them clinch the CNE Championship.

Nichols lost 3-0 to the Gulls in the Championship game. Nichols finishes the season with a 26-18 record and went 11-5 in conference to finish as the Conference Championship Runner-Up.
