BEVERLY, Mass. (5/1/2025) – Three members of the Nichols College men's and women's track & field team collect All-Conference honors at the Conference of New England (CNE) Championships. The men's team saw two and the women's team saw one.
Freshman
Chad Moffat, sophomore
Nolan Charbonneau, and freshman
Gabrielle McKayle all earned honors for the Bison.
Moffat, secured a First Team selection, after winning the Javelin Throw with a 53.10m throw, beating the next competitor in the event by 1.5 meters. Moffat, qualified for the NCAA New England DIII Championships this weekend, and will throw Javelin there as well.
Charbonneau secured a third-place finish in the 100m Hurdles, after clocking a 15.89m sprint and earning six points in the event. Charbonneau was a First Team selection in 2024 in the event.
McKayle continued her impressive freshman campaign with a third-place finish in the 100m Dash. McKayle clocked a 12.73 in the event to qualify for the NCAA New England DIII Championships this season and broke the school record in the event as well. McKayle will also race over the weekend in the 200m Dash.
A handful of members of the team will race this weekend at the NCAA Regional Championship.
