WENHAM, Mass. (4/5/2025) – The Nichols College Men's Track and Field team competed at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational host by Gordon College on Saturday afternoon.
The 4x400m relay team of
Christopher Lanier,
Jack Crowley,
Jack Hearn, and
Nolan Charbonneau won the event with 3:41.67 time in the race. The Bison team topped four other teams to take home the top spot in the race.
Freshman
Chad Moffat, continued his excellent start to his rookie campaign with a first place finish in Javelin with a 45.11m throw. He topped teammate
Zachary Yarnall who was right behind him with second place finish on a 43.61m throw.
Charbonneau also competed in the 100m dash with an 11.55 in the final for sixth place overall after qualifying with an 11.49. Giromani Fortes De Brito also qualified for the finals in the 100m dash and edged out Charbonneau with an 11.54 in the 100m dash. Fortes De Brito continued his great day on the track with a fourth-place finish in the 200m dash as well, clocking a 23.83.
Lanier added a top three finish for the Bison in the 400m dash with a 53.57.
In the field events, the Bison saw a third-place finish from
Zachary Yarnall in the Discus Throw with a 29.90m throw.
Daniel Adamuska was right behind Yarnall, with 28.91m toss in the same event.
Mitchel Adamson secured a top four spot with his 11.77m throw in shot put and teammate
Michael Carbone was right behind him in fifth place with an 11.63m throw.
