Worcester, Mass. (4/28/2025) – The Nichols men's golf team closed out its 2024-25 season on Monday with a seventh-place finish at the Worcester State Rich Korzec Memorial Invitational, held at the Tatnuck Country Club.
The event featured 11 competing teams, including two from host Worcester State University. Fellow CNE opponent Western New England University took home the team medal with a 288 (+8) on the day, while the WSU Blue Team took runner-up with a 305 (+25).

Luke Sargent led all Bison Monday with a 23
rd place performance, penciling in a 10-over par 80 in the single round. Senior
Jake Goldberg was next in line for the Bison with an 82 (+12) on the day, landing him in 27
th place individually, while sophomore
Drew Barrett and senior
Antonio Facente took 28
th and 29
th with respective scores of 83 (+13) and 84 (+14).
Senior
Louis Denison rounded out the Bison lineup, shooting a 21-over par 91 to claim 44
th out of the 54-player field. Monday's tournament also marked the collegiate debuts for Barrett, Facente and Denison.
