Riley Chartier in the fourth gave Nichols a 4-1 lead.

The Gulls responded with a three-run homer in the fifth to tie things at four apiece, but the Bison weren't finished. In the seventh, Gour delivered an RBI single to score
Chloe Steiniger, and
Kyla Felicani followed with a two-RBI single to right field, pushing the lead to 7-4. The Bison defense locked down the final frame to preserve the win.
