DUDLEY, Mass. (4/14/2025) - The Nichols College men's tennis team earned a dominant 7-0 victory over Curry College on Monday afternoon at the Robinson Tennis Courts, maintaining their unbeaten status in conference play.
The Bison improve to 8-10 (7-0 CNE) on the season with the sweep, while Curry drops to 0-13 (0-6 CNE).
Nichols quickly took control in doubles play, with wins at the top two courts. Freshman
Mason Harris and
Felipe Gonzalez led the way with a 6-0 sweep at No. 2 doubles, followed by
Rodolfo Hernandez and
Alexander Snitko's 6-1 victory at No. 1.
The Bison entered singles play with a 2-0 lead after earning a default win at the No. 6 flight. To follow, Snitko joined
William Bergendahl,
Joshua Alarcon, and Hugo Cote as one of four 6-0, 6-0 singles victories for the Bison, while Gonzalez took his own win at No. 1 singles by scores of 6-2, 6-1.
Men's Tennis hosts Roger Williams University (15-1, 6-0 CNE) in their next conference showdown. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15
th at 4:00 PM.
