How The Bison Got Here: Nichols' season record now stands at  18-14 overall following their recent 3-0 sweep (25-20, 25-18, 25-22) of No. 4 seeded SUNY Polytechnic Institute in the conference semifinal on Saturday afternoon. The playoff victory also maintained Nichols' shutout streak against conference opponents this season, as they have yet to surrender a set to any of their NEVC opponents.

The Opponent: Endicott College pulled out all stops against their own semifinal opponent on Saturday, sweeping No. 2 SUNY Potsdam (25-14, 27-25, 25-20) to punch their ticket to Sunday's championship, in which they enter with a 14-11 (4-2 NEVC) record on the season. Endicott, respectively, aims to lock up their ninth conference title as a program.

The two squads met on one occasion this regular season, with Nichols sweeping the Gulls on their home court, 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-23) on March 22nd. Endicott's last victory over the Bison came back on April 8th, 2023, with Nichols having won three consecutive meetings since.

Who to Watch: The All-NEVC First Team trio of Jack Normandin, Tanner Soracco and Dylan Knapp remains the top Bison to watch for the anticipated matchup. In the semifinal victory over SUNY Poly, Knapp was a dominant force at the net, connecting for 10 kills on .692 hitting while shutting down the oppositions' attack with four blocks. Normandin was also in the mix offensively with six kills against the Wildcats, as well as two aces, while Soracco tallied three kills and a team-best seven digs.

Nichols also showcased a pair of solid playmakers in sophomore Evan Sachs, and graduate student Chandler Olson who combined for 30 kills in the semifinal win.
