Conference of New England (CNE) All-40th Release
BEVERLY, Mass. (4/3/2025) – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced its All-40
th Team for men's hockey, as the Nichols College men's hockey team landed one alumnus on the list, J.B. Baker '19, represented the Bison with the honor.
The minimum criteria for the list began with at least one First Team All-Conference selections or at least one Player of the Year honor, while graduating from their institution. Both current and former league members can earn recognition on the teams.
Baker '19, the 2016-17 Conference Rookie of the Year and First Team selection led the teams with 40 points his freshman season, scoring 16 goals and added 24 assists, finishing fifth in the Conference that season. In his second season, Baker added a Second Team honor, after a 37-point season (15 goals and 22 assists), including a 10-game scoring streak for the Bison. He graduated all-time with 120 career points, good for ninth all-time and finished tied for 6
th in career assists (77).
Baker was apart of the 2017-18 Men's Hockey Conference Champions, tallying assists in each NCAA tournament game, that season for the Bison.
The 40th Anniversary campaign runs parallel to the league's new naming and branding initiative that was launched in August. This celebration also serves as a platform to highlight the conference's achievements, honor its history, and generate enthusiasm for future endeavors.
