College Sports Communicators (CSC) Release
DUDLEY, Mass. (3/28/2025) – Four Women's Basketball team members were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Junior
Adriana Romano, and sophomores
Aydan Gulliver,
Sarah Maher, and
Rylee Barrieault were all honored for the Bison.
To qualify for CSC Academic all-district, the athlete must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 or better, and have competed in at least 90% of games played, or started at least 66% of contests. A maximum of six athletes per team may be recognized each year.
The honor is the second consecutive for Romano who appeared in 23 games as a junior, making 22 starts. She averaged 9.6 points per game and led all Bison starters in overall shooting (40.7%), ranked second on the team in assists (56), and added 80 rebounds, with 68 steals. She holds a 3.52 GPA in finance.
Gulliver, who transferred to Nichols this season, appeared in 23 games as a freshman. She made her Nichols debut against Lasell University, and averaged 1.2 points per game, scoring 32 total. She has a 3.66 GPA in criminal psychology.
Maher returned to the Bison from injury this season and appeared in 24 games as a sophomore, scoring 32 points (1.3 PPG) on 10-of-36 (27.8%) shooting. She also added 21 rebounds on the season. She has a 3.57 GPA in criminal justice.
The final honoree for the Bison was
Rylee Barrieault. She appeared in 25 games as a sophomore, making two starts, and averaged 3.4 points per game, scoring 86 total on 29-for-96 (30.2%) shooting. She has a 3.87 GPA as a double major in accounting and real estate.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
