DUDLEY, Mass. (12/8/2025) – With the conclusion of the 2025 Nichols College women's volleyball season, there's a lot for the Bison to reflect on—from growth and grit to standout performances.
With new head coach
Caryn Sibiskie at the helm in her first season with the Bison, the program finished 8-19 overall and 2-8 in conference play, showing signs of improvement from the year prior.
Sibiskie picked up her first collegiate head-coaching win on August 30th, guiding the Bison to a convincing 3–1 victory over Sarah Lawrence. Freshman standout
Alyssa Morse led the charge with a career-best 17 kills on a .382 clip and added 12 digs to secure her first collegiate double-double.
Nichols notched its first big milestone of the season in a five-set thriller against Keene State (9/9), shattering the program's single-game digs record. The Bison racked up 103 digs, highlighted by a career high 27 apiece from junior libero
Elizabeth Mullen and freshman
Alyssa Morse, with seniors
Kya Burdier (18) and
Mairead Frost (14) also stepping up.
The Bison opened conference action on a high note for the first time in program history, storming past the University of Hartford in three thrilling sets on September 24th. The match was made even more memorable as graduate student
Ruby St. Onge joined the 1,000 assist club after dishing out 17 assists, becoming just the second Bison ever to hit the milestone.
On the road at Wheaton College, senior
Maille Ianniruberto delivered the one solo block she needed to rewrite the record book, climbing to No. 1 all-time with 94 career solo blocks.
