DUDLEY, Mass. (12/2/2025) - Following the conclusion of the fall season, the Nichols College women's tennis team wrapped up their semester with multiple individual and team accolades, with the squad next set to resume action in the spring.
Guided by the high-level of experience and leadership of former players–turned–coaches Javier Godoy Gomis and Jose Nuñez, the team propelled itself to a 14-1 season, and posted a 9-1 record in conference play.
With a winning record and a No. 2 seed for the Conference of New England tournament, the Nichols College Bison earned their seventh conference championship in women's tennis program history. The successful run for the ring was credited to a semi-final win on November 1st against Gordon College (4-2), and the following final match win against Endicott College (4-1) on November 2nd.
