DUDLEY, Mass. (12/11/2025) - The Nichols College men's golf team brought home one tournament title during its 2025 fall campaign, with two players earning individual medalist honors throughout.
Under the guidance of first-year head coach Don Lemieux, the Bison first hit the links at the 6
th Eastern Connecticut State Warrior Invitational, where the team claimed 3
rd of six participating teams. The two-day tournament also delivered Nichols' first individual medalist in senior
Cameron Desante, who topped the leaderboard with a combined score of 137 (-6).
The score was the lowest single-round score by a Bison player since the 2006-07 season, while his overall tournament score ranked as the lowest combined performance by a Bison player, also since 2006-07.
Exactly two weeks later, Desante returned to share the individual medal with teammate
Nick White at the Westfield State Brett Williamson Invitational, where their matching 73 (+2) cards helped led the Bison to their lone team medal, with two other players landing in the top 10 individually;
Brady Salah (+3), and
Jacob Andreozzi (+7).
To close out the fall campaign, the Bison claimed a ninth-place finish in the 2025 CNE Championship, hosted by the University of Hartford, behind a score of 644 (+68) through the two days. Nichols then took eighth of 22 competing teams at the NEIGA Championship, carding a team score of 625 (+49).
The Bison will pick play back up in the spring of 2026, with the official schedule to be released at a later time.
