Player of the Year Helton and Multiple Bison Honored in CNE Postseason Awards

DUDLEY, Mass. (11/4/2025) - On Tuesday morning, the Conference of New England released its list of rewards and all-conference teams following the conference championship. With the announcement, four total Bison received recognition in multiple honors.

To highlight the release, 2024 CNE Rookie of the Year Kamora Helton adds to her list of accolades in her naming of the 2025 CNE Player of the Year. Helton posted an undefeated 13-0 record for singles in the regular season (10-0 CNE) and 11-2 in doubles (9-1 CNE) at the No. 1 position; high-level play to credit her Player of the Year nod.

Being the lone major award winner for Nichols, Helton, along with Pamela Gonzalez Vallardi, and Charis Vogler were all honored on the All-Conference First Team Singles team. For the fall, Gonzalez Vallardi marked a 12-1 overall record in singles (9-1 CNE) and 11-2 in doubles (9-1 CNE). Vogler's historic undefeated fall season of 13-0 in singles and doubles (10-0 CNE) warranted a first team bid for the senior.

Cora Brosch was awarded a spot on the All-Conference 3rd Team for Singles that celebrates her record of 10-3 in singles (7-3 CNE). Brosch also saw an undefeated doubles record 13-0 (10-0 CNE).

Nichols also saw two pairings earning slots on the All-Conference First Team for Doubles. Helton and Gonzalez Vallardi get their second appearance on the release, as well as Vogler and Brosch, capping off the postseason awards for the Bison.

Vogler's first-team appearances on both sides of the court mark her second in singles and doubles. Brosch now has a first team award for both singles and doubles, and Gonzalez Vallardi gets her second first team doubles award. Helton's awards in both all-conference team gives her back-to-back honors.
