Endicott used a dominant first period to set the tone on Saturday afternoon, striking three times in the opening 20 minutes. Despite a strong pushback from the Bison in the second period, powered by a pair of power-play goals, Nichols couldn't overcome the early deficit. Nichols ultimately came off the ice with a conference loss, 6-2.

The loss gives Nichols a 2-6-0 record on the season, 0-6-0 for the CNE. Endicott improves to a 5-1-0 record overall and 3-1-0 for match-ups against Conference of New England opponents.

The Bison answered with a retaliation of their own, as Ema Jaskova put the Bison on the board with a power-play strike at 4:20, and Sienna Reeves added another player-up goal, a snipe just ahead of the blue line, just a minute later to cut the deficit to 5-2. In the same sequence, Endicott scored the last goal of the game at 9:17, 6-2. The Bison saw an improvement in the shot column with 10 shots, and Taylor Daley, who was swapped in, posted 9 saves for the period.
