Nichols Cross Country Sets Sights on NCAA East Regionals

HOPKINTON, N.H. (11/14/2025) - Nichols College cross country is ready to take their shot at the 2025 NCAA East Regionals on Saturday, at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in New Hampshire. The Men's 8k will see participation from Gregory Sadlak, Jack Crowley, Patrick Bergin, Gino Di Vito, and dual-sport athlete Chad Moffat. On the women's side, an individual entry from freshman runner Bobbi Calder.

Graduate student Gregory Sadlak will continue with momentum in his season, forming two separate personal records on the season. He finished tenth in the Men's 8k with a time of 27:36.68 in competition at the Pop Crowell Invitational. Sadlak went on to record a new PR at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational (27:17.72). Then, proceeded to finish the 2025 season with his best time yet, a new PR of 27:07.7 at the Men's 8k for the Conference Championship. Sadlak will continue to be a runner of interest for the Bison as the NCAA East Regionals sit on the horizon.

Gino Di Vito is poised to maintain his momentum and continue his steady improvement after breaking his personal record this season. He posted a time of 29:07.36 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, surpassing his previous PR of 30:53.0 set at last year's CNE Championship (11/2). Di Vito carried that progress through the season, running 20:32.4 at the Keene State Invitational and 29:19.19 at Westfield State, solidifying himself as a valuable runner for Nichols heading into the upcoming East Regionals.

The Bison will be competing with five runners at the upcoming NCAA East Regionals: Sadlak, Di Vito, juniors Patrick Bergin and Jack Crowley, and first-year dual-sport athlete Chad Moffat, who will be making his debut at the event.

For the women, freshman Bobbi Calder will be representing the Bison. While she was unable to place, this will be valuable experience for Calder as she makes her first appearance at the East Regionals.
