No. 2 Nichols to Face No. 5 Endicott in 4th Consecutive Final Match Up

DUDLEY, Mass. (11/1/2025) - The Nichols College women's tennis are set to face No. 5 Endicott College tomorrow, November 2nd in the Conference of New England Final. The match up follows a 4-2 victory by the Bison over Gordon on Saturday, and a win from Endicott over the No. 1 seeded Colby-Sawyer College. Due to Nichols now holding the highest seeding in the tournament the match is to be hold on home court for Nichols College.

The Gulls go into the match up on Sunday coming off of an impressive run against two higher seeded programs. Endicott swept No 3. Roger Williams University 4-0 and took that momentum into the Semifinal against Colby-Sawyer, executing the biggest upset of the tournament.

  • Endicott has won the doubles point in both games in the postseason, as well as every singles point coming from the No. 2 position or below.

  • The match saw a doubles point for the Bison, featuring wins from familiar duos today In Kamora Helton and Pamela Gonzalez Vallardi plus Charis Vogler and Cora Brosch.
  • The four listed were also earned points individually in singles play.
The Bison were unable to secure the doubles point against Gordon College on Saturday, but powered through in a dominant display of singles matches. Last time out, Nichols were able to earn the doubles point against Endicott. Standing out for Nichols against Endicott was their singles play, only dropping two points to the Gulls. 

Should Nichols win the CNE Final this Sunday they will have evened their all-time championship record against and Endicott and secured their 7th ring as a program.
