Kamora Helton was awarded her second Conference of New England Player of the Week honors this Monday, marking the first award for the team as a whole this season.
Helton played a pivotal role in the Bison win over Gordon College on Wednesday, winning her doubles set 6-1 and going on to win in singles 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. At an even 3-3, the victory from Helton gave the team an edge over the Fighting Scots, earning a Nichols win 4-3.
Against Endicott, Helton displayed the same dominance in her doubles set winning 6-2, and a singles victory of 6-0, 6-2 resulting in a 5-2 Bison win.
Helton remains undefeated in singles matches on the year, and a dominant winning rate for doubles match ups.
The women's tennis team returns to the Robinson Tennis Courts on Wednesday, October 22nd to face Roger Williams University in a crucial conference match up. Starting time is set for 4:00 PM.Â
