SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (10/18/2025) - The Nichols College cross country teams tackled the Golden Bear Invitational earlier this Saturday.
On the men's side, the team saw the debut of now dual-sport athlete
Chad Moffat, who also competes in track & field for the Bison. Moffat clocked a time of 32:53.12, placing 145th overall in his cross country debut.
Leading the pack for the Bison was
Gregory Sadlak, who posted a time of 27:18.35 and placed 27th for the invitational. Finishing behind Sadlak was
Jack Crowley who ran for 28:30.33, with a placing of 49th. The last runner to place on the men's side was
Patrick Bergin, marking a time of 29:48.57, 76th overall.
For the women,
Bobbi Calder placed 132nd with a time of 32:29.26.
The next time Nichols will see action on a course will be for the Conference of New England Championship, with a location and time still to be announced. Nonetheless, the event is listed for Saturday, November 1st.
